The Hypocrites are a pop/rock group from Houston, Tx. They perform a wide variety of rock and roll hits from the 60's to the 80's. Their repertoire includes hits by The Psychedelic Furs, Flock of Seagulls, Eddy Money, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Van Halen to name a few. They also perform a number of original songs such as Love is out of touch and Music Video.

The band formed in 1981 with Leon Holley on bass and vocals; Mark Ortega on lead guitar; Gonzo Pena on drums and vocals; and Lonnie Pena on Guitar and keyboards. George Soto joined the band in 2006 and plays keyboards, bass and drums. In the early 80's, The Hypocrites performed throughout the Gulf Coast Southern Region from Houston to Victoria. The band most recently performed at Westcott Bar and Grill and were the #1 rock music group at the Lights in the Heights annual Christmas event.
